Three-panel black aluminium sliding door in a living room opening to a lawned garden

Aluminium sliding doors in London

Large glazed aluminium panels that glide along a track instead of folding, for garden openings where you want the view and no swing space.

01Aluminium doors

Classic aluminium sliding doors

Aluminium sliding doors are glazed panels that run on parallel tracks and park behind the fixed glass, so nothing swings or folds. We fit them on the Cortizo 4700 profile, in one colour or two.

01

Inline panels

Sliding panes on parallel tracks that park behind the fixed glass: no folded stack outside, no swing space inside.

02

Flush or low threshold

A flush track with a concealed drainage channel, part of our fit, or a low upstand where drainage is limited.

03

Dark and dual colour frames

Anthracite or black frames that hold their shape in summer heat; a common pairing is anthracite outside, white inside.

04Asked before every survey

The questions that matter.

How are these different from slim sliding doors?
Same action, different frame. Slim sliding is built around a 20 mm interlock where two panes meet; classic sliding shows more frame and makes a sturdy everyday door. Both are in our Ruislip showroom, and very large, heavy panels go to lift and slide.
Should I choose sliding or bifold doors?
Sliding for view and light with the doors shut, bifold to open almost the whole wall. Sliding keeps at least one panel fixed, so 50 to 66% clears, with far fewer vertical frames. London doors stay shut about half the year, when sliding pays back.
Does a flush threshold cope with UK rain?
Only when it is drained properly. A flush track needs a concealed linear drainage channel beneath it, or driven rain ends up in the living room. That channel is part of our fit, and where site drainage is limited we recommend a low upstand.
Can the frame be a different colour inside and out?
Yes, dual colour is an option on this profile: pick the outside to suit the facade and the inside to suit the room. Lead times depend on finish and colour; we confirm yours with the quote.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong?
One company. We survey, supply and fit with our own team, so there is no gap between a supplier and a fitter for a problem to fall into.
